Content Warning And Quick Framing
Speaker 1Quick note, this podcast episode is a candid conversation about men's sexual health. So if you're listening with young ears nearby, grab your headphones. What's actually happening internally when ED shows up? And ED shows up in different ways. It could be difficulty having an erection or difficulty keeping one.
SpeakerIt depends on the guy. There are so many causes for ED and guys respond to it so differently. The root of performance anxiety is that fight or flight mode. And a lot of guys will go into fight and they'll go to the doctor and see what they need to do to change their diet and lose weight and whatever they need to do to get their erections back. And a lot other guys will go into flight mode and just withdraw into themselves and cut their wife completely off from any affection.
Speaker 1Welcome to the
Meet Galen And The ED Surge
Speaker 1New Normal Big Life Podcast. We bring you natural and integrative health information and stories about nature that we hope will inspire you to get outside an adventure, along with a step-by-step plan to help you practice what you've learned to create your own new normal and live the biggest life you can dream. I'm your host, Antoinette Berrafato, the wellness warrior. Let's get into today's topic. Welcome to New Normal Big Life, Gaylen Wilson. Why do you tell us who you are, what you do, and the one big idea around ED that you want to leave us with today?
SpeakerI'm Gaylen Wilson. I'm uh have reinvented myself at 69. I'm now an author and a relationship coach. And I've been administrating the two largest Facebook groups for erectile dysfunction for five and a half years. So I've gotten doctored education on how to fix ED. Some of the guys tell me that I know more than their doctor does, which is kind of sad, but general practitioners are not trained on ED like they need to be.
Speaker 1Well, it's great that you can be that resource because with a seven to 15 minute doctor's appointment, there's barely enough time to go over your medical history, let alone get real information from your doctor. So here's what the research is telling us about 35% of young men may experience a diagnosis. And among men under 40, they've increased their diagnosis by 31-fold over the last decade. This isn't a so-called old men's problem anymore, according to the National Institutes of Health and Yale Daily News. We keep hearing about a silent epidemic of ED in young men. And like you said, you spent five plus years talking to over 60,000 men and their partners. From what you've witnessed, how widespread is this really? And what's
Porn Conditioning And Dopamine Overload
Speaker 1driving the surge in erectile dysfunction diagnosis across age groups and especially among younger people?
SpeakerYeah, it is very pervasive. And the doctors aren't going to like my answer because what's driving it is porn. Porn desynthesizes these young men. Some of the most prevalent young men that I've worked with have come from Pakistan, where they were raised in very religious households, and then Mark Zuckerberg gave them a phone. And all of a sudden, oh, look what I found on my phone. And they're not really allowed to even think about marriage until the late 20s or 30s. And so you've got these young men with raging hormones and all of a sudden unlimited access to porn, and they use it and they masturbate to the point that it does make it very, very difficult to make love to a real woman because your brain has been conditioned for that quick stimulus and change of stimulus to and so that dopamine response that you get from technology.
Speaker 1Right.
SpeakerYeah. And you know, also video gaming has a lot of the same issues. It's been shown that video game can cause ED from this for the same reasons. And of course, the advertising agencies don't want us to know that. And so there's a lot of money behind the porn industry and behind the advertising industry and the gaming industry. And these young men would even get to the point where they couldn't even get an erection with the porn anymore. There was a couple things going on there. Not only were they changing their brain chemistry, but they were also likely causing what I call death drip syndrome, where you masturbate so firmly that you desynthesize the penis. So therefore, even if you can get an erection with a woman, you're not feeling her because you've desynthesized your penis. And it's wreaking havoc. It's teaching these young men to use women as fancy masturbation toys. I tell my guys in the group, those girls are paid really well to pretend those huge penises don't hurt like hell, to pretend that they're having the time of their lives and multiple orgasms the second he enters her, and to make freakishly unnatural noises while they do it.
Speaker 1You don't pull any punches, Gaylen. That's why I like you. This is a phenomenon that's happening around the world and most of the developed world, but especially here in the United States, many Americans are zinc deficient. And with studies estimating that 32% of the US population has a zinc inadequacy, that can negatively impact your immune system, but a zinc deficiency can also directly cause erectile dysfunction. Zinc fuels testosterone production, it powers the nitric oxide that opens blood flow for an erection and protects penile tissue from oxidative damage. Three mechanisms, one mineral solves those problems. And I'll tell you the one secret to why even men who are taking zinc daily are still deficient in zinc. If you're taking zinc and you're still zinc deficient or aren't seeing any improvement in your symptoms, it's because your zinc's ability to enter the cells is crucial for its function. So quercetin and elderberry, they act as a zinc ionophore, which means it facilitates the transport of zinc across cell membranes. Without an ionophore like quercetin or elderberry, the zinc is not getting to where your body needs it. So check out the link in the show description to the supplements My Family Trusts and get 5% off when you use code NNBL. So when Gaylen talks about the real cause of erectile dysfunction that catch men off guard, like zinc deficiency, this is exactly the kind of root cause connection we're going to unpack.
Deficiencies That Quietly Drive ED
Speaker 1So let's discuss the obvious physical factors and the psychological and lifestyle drivers. You mentioned porn consumption. Let's unpack performance anxiety, stress medication side effects that no one has prepared these men for experiencing.
SpeakerI found vitamin D deficiency is a huge factor. I I can't tell you how many guys that have come into the group over the five years and said, I started taking vitamin D and I'm cured. I'm going to be a little controversial. And so we're blocking out the vitamin D that we really need.
Speaker 1And we're also spending less time outdoors and we're wearing sunglasses. We absorb vitamin D through our skin and through our eyes. So, yes, it's important to wear sunglasses sometimes, but it's also important to let your eyes soak up that natural vitamin D. And then the other thing is to spend more time outdoors. Let's talk about some of the different ways that men's ED can develop or made worse by lifestyle, stress, anxiety, medications.
SpeakerThere are doctors that believe that microplastics are responsible for the extreme testosterone. We're in the middle of a testosterone epidemic. A 30-year-old today has half the testosterone of one in 1980 and a quarter of the testosterone of one in 1950. I think it's important to get as many unprocessed foods that haven't ever come in contact with any plastics into your system that you can. And so the more natural foods you can get, the better off you're going to be when dealing with ED. Red meat has gotten a bad rap by the doctors. There are studies that absolutely say cholesterol has nothing to do with your heart condition. That right, just as many people have low cholesterol as have high cholesterol when they're testing heart attack people. So this whole you can't eat red meat, men need red meat for testosterone production. And most of the testosterone in a man is produced by his leg muscle. So you don't use your leg muscles when you're sitting there gaming 12 hours a day.
unknownRight.
Speaker 1You've hit on some really important key takeaways for longevity in general. When you start to experience sarcopenia or loss of muscle mass, it tends to happen when you're a little bit older, say in your late 40s, early 50s. But now we're seeing younger and younger people experiencing sarcopenia, which also leads to poor metabolic function. So you're seeing an increase in diabetes. It also leads to a weaker heart. You can measure a person's hand grip strength and see that they're already starting to have some amount of heart disease developing by a weak hand grip. There are times when I go to shake a young man's hand in his 20s, and they react like I almost broke their hand, and I'm giving them just a good solid handshake, like my dad taught my brothers. A lot of our lifestyle choices are affecting performance. But the other thing to remember is that there are some natural things like stevia, which is in a lot of foods, especially people who are eating a lot of zero calorie and no sugar products. Well, you might be having products that are sweetened by stevia, but stevia in some South American countries is used as a birth control for both men and women. So there are so many things that you could be consuming if you're not reading your labels, which we talk about at length on New Normal Big Life. So make sure you catch those episodes on 12 toxic food ingredients to avoid, and all also episodes on eating greener and living a greener life for your good health. So most
Fight Or Flight And The ED Tailspin
Speaker 1people think about erectile dysfunction symptoms and they think that it begins and ends in the bedroom. But what are the early warning signs, the physical, the emotional, the behavioral, that men and their partners should recognize before the problem escalate?
SpeakerWhat I've learned about nervous system regulation, that is gonna play a huge part in erectile dysfunction. Because if his nervous system is dysregulated, he's producing stress hormones that are just gonna automatically make it harder to get erections, harder to get excited, harder, harder to be intimate. Because if they're not not coming back and and repairing, their nervous systems get dysregulated and they're not connecting when they're making love. And so he doesn't get the stimulation mentally that he needs, because the brain is the biggest sex organ we have. And and it's a fact.
Speaker 1If someone hasn't caught our previous discussion on nervous system regulation, what Gaylen is talking about when he says your nervous system is dysregulated, it's when you're stuck in fight or flight mode. A lot of military veterans and first responders like to say that they have situational awareness. And situational awareness is just a fancy way of saying that your nervous system is stuck and go, waiting for the next bad thing to happen that that you need to solve. So, from the man's point of view, walk us through what's actually happening internally when ED shows up. And ED shows up in different ways. It could be difficulty having an erection or difficulty keeping one. Talk to us about that.
SpeakerI suppose that's one of those questions that it depends on the guy. There are so many causes for ED, and and guys respond to it so differently. We were talking about the fight or flight mode. They believe that the root of performance anxiety is that fight or flight mode. Because the second he loses that first direction, his body says, dude, you're gonna lose your wife. She's gonna leave you for some other guy. And so it automatically throws him into fight or flight. And a lot of guys will go into fight and they'll go to the doctor and see what they need to do, they'll change their diet and lose weight and whatever they need to do to get it their erections back, and then other guys will go into flight mode and just withdraw into themselves and cut their wife completely off from any affection. And so it's it's uh such a varied thing that happens with men. So many doctors want to just your ED is physical or your ed is mental. Well, it's rarely one or the other, it's usually both, because you know, when that man loses the erection the first time, yes, it might be a physical cause, but now he's got the mental on top of it. He could maybe deal with ED and and recover some, except now he's got the mental. I call it the ED tailspin, because you you lose an erection and you're so worried about the next erection that you end up losing it, and that makes you more worried about the next direction, and you're in a downward spiral.
Speaker 1And what could a partner do or say in that moment that could be helpful?
SpeakerThese men were were going into flight mode and withdrawing and just abandoning their wives.
Treatment Ladder From Pills To Implants
SpeakerOnce I discovered the monument method and started understanding nervous system regulation and fight or flight mode, I saw how much power a woman actually has to help her man with ED. I've written three books on ED. The one is rebuild for his eyes only, and it takes him through the ED ladder where you start with the medicines, and if they don't work, then you try home use shockweight therapy machines. They were miraculous for me. Above that are the penal injections, which is just a little tiny insulin needle and a tiny amount of fluid, and you inject it, and within 10 minutes you've got an erection that lasts 30 minutes to four hours, even after orgasm. So then above that, they've made tremendous strides with the implant technology. So where they've got three-piece implants, they implant the cylinders in the penis and a pump in the scrotum and a reservoir in the abdomen. And anytime you need a direction, pump, pump, pump, and you can have it as long as you want it. And as soon as you're done, you can deflate it. And from all reports, they're perfectly natural looking, and nobody can tell it unless they knew it was there. And I I've talked to hundreds of guys that have them, and they all reported that orgasms are normal, everything's normal. And so I tell my news on that front. There is really no excuse having the money to buy the implant, but in in the United States, if you're on Medicare, they pay for it. Which is weird because they won't pay for Viagra, but they will pay for six or seven thousand dollar implant.
Speaker 1What I find even stranger is that they won't pay for a hearing aid, but they will play pay for an implant. That's pretty interesting.
SpeakerUnlike a lot of other ED books, I go on to tell him how to fix his relationship with the monument method. And then also I challenge them to become master lovers. Because I can't tell you how many women that came in the group and told me, hey, my man is a much better lover than what he was before he got ED. Because all of a sudden he's now concentrating on being present with her and and making love to her instead of using her as a fancy masturbation toy. And so I challenge the men to become master lovers. Anchor is for her eyes only. And what it does is at first it helps her get on solid emotional ground first. Because you know, the first thing that a woman feels as soon as her man loses his erection is what? It's her fault. She's not attracted to me anymore.
Speaker 1I was reaching for words because I I haven't experienced this problem, so I don't know, but Well, you live long enough, you're likely to experience it.
SpeakerAnd the second one that I found right behind that is he must be having an affair. He doesn't want me anymore. And most of the time the guys I've talked to just are agonizing because they still desire their women strongly, but their their penis isn't working. And so it teaches her to get herself on solid ground first when he's withdrawn and she tries to approach the subject with him, he gets angry and lashes out. And that's how he's trained her not to bring that subject up, that it's a taboo subject to talk about. And so with the monument method, she can begin to make that connection, do non-sexual touching, and and get him to eye gaze with her, and and bring bring his nervous system back down into regulation. And then once that nervous system is in regulation, then he can start to come out of that fight or flight and rejoin her. So that's what the anchor does. And then uh the third book in the series is called A Line, and it's for the both of them to read after the the individual books. So it teaches them how to have an amazing sex life despite of ED.
Speaker 1That's great. So you've described thousands of conversations where the men talk about shame, anxiety, depression, avoidance, and something you've called masculinity collapse. What does that experience look like from the inside?
SpeakerI never really experienced it personally because I never saw my ED as me being less of a man. But that is a really heavy themed feeling amongst the thousands of men is oh, I don't feel like a man anymore. Hey, if you had diabetes, wouldn't you take insulin? You know, ED is another treatable medical condition. It doesn't make you less of a man. My favorite saying is always aggressively treat your ED. Well, aggressively treating it is following that ladder I talked about. If the you start off with the medicines, and and sometimes guys can start with Cialis. Cialis is the preferred medicine because it stays in your system 36 hours. So generally, for a lot of men, a five milligram a day dose will allow him to have sex anytime she's ready. It it returns spontaneity to the situation. Whereas Viagra has to be taken one hour before sex on an empty stomach because fats will tie up the sedenophil and not let it digest. So it makes it to where it's ineffective. So you've got to plan sex.
Speaker 1So
Med Side Effects And Holistic Testing
Speaker 1when you said that you recommend that they treat their ED aggressively through medication, in my own clinical background, sometimes medication can be the cause of the ED, a different medication that they're on, and then they take a medication for the ED, and then they have a third medication for those symptoms, and then later you end up with 20 medications. So I'm a fan with telling people to work on their head game first, how they think about themselves, how they think about themselves as sexual beings and sexual partners, how they feel about their thoughts around having an ED challenge, and then looking for natural ways that they can start solving this problem. More along the lines of making sure you don't have any vitamin deficiencies like magnesium or zinc or vitamin D, making sure that your blood pressure is correct, that you don't have pots, for example, that you're not on a medication or multiple medications that affect blood flow. If you are talk to with your doctor that you're having ED and ask, could this be caused by a medication that you're on? You can also go to the NIH or PubMed and look up your medications and see if ED is a factor. So when I talk about natural remedies, I'm talking about the deficiencies and medication side effects, the lack of sleep, the stress.
SpeakerI say you need to get a good holistic medicine practitioner that can do the blood tests, find out what your deficient in, and then they know what supplement will cure that deficiency. Now there are some like your like your zinc and like your vitamin D and vitamin C, and and those are no-brainers because we all need them anyway. You know, there is like L arduane and L L citrinine that are good for helping nitric oxide production, which then helps erections. And so there are some other ones that are safe to go ahead and say, Yeah, you're not gonna hurt yourself by taking these. And nato kines. They need to not go into it blind. They need help. And they need to find them a good holistic practitioner. My biggest pet peeve is them giving antidepressants to young men. Because that is one of the almost guaranteed ways that they're going to have erectile dysfunction. I'm saying that you don't have ED, you go to your doctor, and your doctor puts you on a medicine that causes ED without even mentioning, oh, by the way, this could cause problems downstairs. I'm on two different anti-rejection meds that reduce my immune system. They never mentioned either one of them as causing erectile dysfunction, but I did my research, and yes, they do, but of course, I can't stop taking them. So I pretty much gotta have the second medications. And at 69, I've moved on to the injections, and and they allow me to make love three to four times a week at 69 years old.
Speaker 1So for the woman in the life of a man who's experiencing ED, what does she need to understand about what he's going through that he might struggle to articulate himself?
SpeakerWell, and that goes right back to the to the old fight or flight. He's feeling less of a man. Shame is kind of a hard word because shame indicates that he feels responsible for it happening. So I don't think shame is really a word for it. I think it's kind of a poor me. I'm less of a man because I I can't get in erection. And so I think that the shame gets misnamed.
Speaker 1And but it's more feeling sorry for yourself that you're going through this challenge. Yeah, I that's what I would say. What could women do or say to help their partner to be able to talk with her about how he's feeling and what are the right in air quote words to say? I mean, it depends on the person, I'm sure, but well, and and that's it.
SpeakerBefore the words, the nervous system regulation has to happen. Because he, if if he's still in fight or flight, his logical brain doesn't hear the words. All he knows is that he's got this issue and and he can't figure it out. And and he's gonna see most anything she does is pressure. I mean, the the actual words that she could say is I hey, I fell in love with you, not your penis. I've talked to several women that took pride in the fact that they could give their men that could not get erection at all, orgasms with oral. And and a lot of people don't know that's possible, but yes, a man can have an orgasm even if he can't get an erection. It it takes quite a bit of work, but it can be done.
Speaker 1It can seem like there's a lot of work that's being placed on her, meaning we you've talked about helping him regulate his nervous system versus he has to regulate his nervous system, and then they can have a conversation about ED. And I don't want the woman who's listening and feeling overwhelmed and feeling stressed because this is a point of stress in the relationship to now feel like, well, gee, I've been doing it all wrong and it's all my fault, and now I have to calm him down so we can have a conversation amongst the other 99 things I have to do in a day. So kind of talk to that for a moment.
SpeakerOnce you learn the monument method and start regulating each other, it's not work. It's fun because you get to be so one with your mate that it turns from work into something you just really enjoy doing.
Speaker 1And so for those unfamiliar who haven't had a chance to catch our first discussion about caregiver burnout and using the monument method for reconnection, what Gaylen is referring to is in the monument method, you can develop some actions that you take, like eye gazing and hand holding and being fully present with each other as to help both of you regulate your nervous system. Because a lot of times when one person is dysregulated and they're in close proximity to another person, it can bleed into your mood as well. And so you may have gone from I'm having a great day, and then someone that you live with, whether it's a child or a partner, comes in and they're dysregulated, they can upset everybody's mood in a household. What I want to be mindful to say is no one is saying that you are responsible for another person's nervous system regulation. We're saying that it could be helpful if you balanced each other, it helped each other regulate your systems. And we discussed that in a previous episode.
SpeakerYeah. And ideally, that's what it becomes. It becomes a team. The whole ED thing, it's tough on her and it's tough on him. And unfortunately, the men, especially the men who withdraw, have a hard time coming out of that shell. But that's the ultimate goal, is they both come to the point where it's a mutual team against the lizard brain.
Speaker 1And a mutual team against falling into fight or flight.
SpeakerRight.
Speaker 1Right.
SpeakerAnd I highly recommend a woman in this situation go and get an anchor and reading it because she's going to feel so much more empowered after she reads that and and so much better about her position in it.
Speaker 1We'll be sure to drop that in the show description. So this is a difficult one. If a woman suspects that a man in her life is silently struggling with ED, but he hasn't brought it up or doesn't seem to recognize it himself, how does she initiate that conversation?
SpeakerThat's a tough one because again, he sees it as his manhood, and if he's hiding it from her, and I've had talk to many men that did hide it from their wives by sneaking the Viagra and sneaking the the Cialis. And I've actually had the opposite, where one woman told me that she had snuck Cialis into his coffee every morning. That's not good. Yeah, no, that's not good. No. But unfortunately, or fortunately or unfortunately, it did work.
Speaker 1But he could have had some adverse reactions to it and he's not with her and he has no idea what's causing it, and that could have ended badly. So I I don't recommend anyone try that at home. So once the ED conversation door is wide open, what does real support look like? What are the concrete do's and don'ts for a partner who wants to be supportive without accidentally making things worse?
SpeakerOkay. And this is going to be a little bit controversial because, again, we're putting this back on the woman. But as men age, our our sense of smell goes away, our our ability to pick up on her pheromones goes away. So that ability helps us get excited and get in the mood. And unfortunately, the cosmetic industry and the the the soap industry is has made it to where women overcleanse themselves to where they have zero scent. And and so they're actually hampering his ability to get excited by the fact that they're not providing him with the natural pheromones that he he needs to be excited. And the little poll I did on the group one time, and 50% of the men liked the woman scent after she was freshly showered. Another percent liked her after a long, long day with no deodorant, and another 10 or 15% liked her after a really hard workout with no deodorant. And and deodorant got zero votes out of 500 men.
Speaker 1Very interesting. So the takeaway from that is maybe ask your man his preference. Because, you know, it could be one of three, or maybe some other option that no one has considered. So what I heard you say was that women are cleansing away their natural pheromones so that younger men who could smell them and get aroused are not getting that signal.
SpeakerWell, even the older men can still get that signal, that's just harder. For instance, Heather has found it's a it's called tempt, and it's a pheromone perfume, and it it does things for me. And and so if she's feeling frisky, she'll put on her tempt and tempt me.
Speaker 1So you've watched thousands of men navigate this inside online communities.
When ED Goes Unaddressed In Love
Speaker 1What's the relationship damage you witness when ED goes unaddressed?
SpeakerWhen it goes unaddressed, it sucks the life out of the woman to be abandoned right inside of the marriage. I believe that she stays with him because of that bond instinct that we have been bred through thousands of years of prehistoric evolution to have an instinct for strong attachment to our mate. And so that instinct keeps her attached to him even when the sex disappears and they have a dead bedroom situation.
Speaker 1Right. Men and women with partners were the ones who survived and thrived and went on to have offspring. So in our brains before as humans had the ability to speak, what some people call the lizard brain, we have this message imprinted on us that a pair has better survivability than people who are individuals. And I like to tell people, as human beings, we can survive alone, but we thrive together. Not just with romantic partners, but also with extended family, with friends, and getting together face to face with other human beings is really important.
SpeakerOne of the things that's happening right now is there's a whole movement out there called Megto. Men going their own way. And these men have just been fed up with the way women have treated them and are just writing off marriage altogether. And unfortunately, it's a really unhealthy for the human species, it really is. Yeah, I joined a couple Megto groups on Facebook just to see if I could help some of them realize they do need that mate, and I wasn't well received.
Speaker 1Well, you know, there has been a lot of marketing and virtual signaling around conscious disconnection, making a conscious thought or conscious decision to disconnect yourself from family, to not have friends, to not seek out a partner, to not even date. And they have convinced a lot of people, especially young people and seniors. I've been looking around groups where there were men and women of all ages from 20s to 60 plus years old, and they said they have gone inside their homes during COVID and they have never left it since. They do telemedicine, they get everything they need delivered, they don't leave their homes, they don't get together with friends or family, and they believe they are happier in their lives doing this. But the reality is data shows that you don't live as long. You're not as healthy, you're not as mentally, physically, spiritually, or emotionally healthy with loneliness. And what I tried to tell this group is one of the reasons that isolation is used in prisons to keep prisoners from behaving badly and in torture is because it is so effective in a very short time at breaking you down mentally to the point where you will never do that behavior again because you don't want to be isolated. Dr. Twinge said there's a lot of money in the epidemic of loneliness because lonely people buy more things, need more health care, and they are more easily manipulated into acting in ways that are against their own best interests. So if you're someone out there who is self-isolating, that is not good for your longevity and your good health.
SpeakerWell said.
Speaker 1Well, this has been a really insightful conversation about ED. Is there anything more you want listeners to know?
SpeakerYeah, guys, there's really no excuse to not be getting erections. You need to get with a holistic practitioner, make the lifestyle changes, go the medicine route, but also go the natural route. Because the natural route can take months to get any reaction from it. And so I I've always said whatever gets you back to making love the fastest, do that and then work on the rest of it. Because your mental health improves when you have a sex life back, and then it also improves your motivation to do other things. Also, guys, get your testosterone checked because we are in the middle of a low testosterone epidemic. My testosterone crashed at 65. And I worked and I worked and I tried supplements and walking and trying to do all the things right, and it just stayed down below 200 for the next two years, and so on. Because testosterone replacement is a lifetime commitment. So many guys came into the group and say, Oh, I just started testosterone replacement therapy. And I said, Did your doctor tell you it was permanent? No, because what it does is once you're on artificial testosterone, then your testicles atrophy. They quit producing their own testosterone and they shrink to the size of large grapes. But you need to approach it as if it's going to be a lifetime decision.
Speaker 1You would think that the ethical thing to do is before you put a patient on testosterone, that you tell them the possibility that this could be a lifelong commitment.
SpeakerYeah. The ethical thing to do is to tell a young man that you're putting on antidepressants, that this could cause erectile dysfunction or low libido. And so many young men aren't told that. And that's one of the epidemics is the heavy use of antidepressants. We're
Loneliness Culture And Artificial Partners
Speakerfacing so many challenges in society. I have a chapter in my books, The Monument Man and Monument Woman, that talk about counterfeit attachment, you know, the the porn and the swipe culture, and especially the danger that's coming right now is we're very close to having the silicone sex doll industry.
Speaker 1We already have that.
SpeakerWell, but I mean in some places you could marry your sex dolls. Yeah, but it's about to merge with the robot industry, which is also about to merge with the AI girlfriend industry. We could have autonomous robot wives and husbands in five years. And that is gonna become a whole new dilemma because so many people are so exhausted right now by the dating seat that they're gonna opt out. Oh, I'm just gonna buy me a wife, and she's never gonna argue with me. I've thought that through, and that's gonna be so lonely. That because one of the true joys in life is building a relationship with a woman.
Speaker 1I have a few thoughts about that. Human beings need other human beings, and the people who don't figure that out, who don't embrace it, and who don't make a conscious effort to maintain their humanity will go down this road and find in a few years that they thought the easy solution was to buy a robotic partner, and it brings a whole nother set of issues because you can't fake humanity.
SpeakerYes.
Speaker 1It might look human and sound human and act human to some extent, but your biology will know the difference. I hope you don't try it and prove me wrong because I hope you stay connected to other human beings for your good health. So,
Where To Find Galen And Final Disclaimer
Speaker 1with that, tell us where can people find and connect with your work?
SpeakerMy main website is Monument Method Institute.com. I have links to my Amazon books on there. My latest two books were Monument Man and Monument Woman. And they are books for dating for older men and women that have come out of a bad relationship and are trying to get into this crazy dating world today. These books were written to teach them how to build relationships off of structure rather than chemistry. By the time they end the books, they say, Oh, this is great. Where do I find somebody to build a monument with? And so I solved the issue by creating monument validated person, MVP, dating site. You've got to have read one of the books and pass a quiz to get into it, and then you've got to vow that you're there to build a monument with somebody, not for casual dating. And so it's an anti-hookup culture site. Those books are gonna change dating culture in the United States.
Speaker 1We'll make sure to put links in the show description. Thank you so much for joining me today, Gaylen. You're quite welcome.
